Taking time for you
Guilt. Is that what you feel at the thought of spending time on yourself? I can understand, I’ve been there. All my friends have been there as well. But we learned a valuable thing after running away together for a weekend. We came back better Mommy’s.
We came back refreshed and renewed. We came back with more patience again.
Now it is just not possible for everyone to runaway. I haven’t made it out with the girls on a weekend for over a year now. 
But I can take time for myself at home a couple of times a week. THe tub is there for a reason so fill it with your favorite smellies. While your in the tub, burn your favorite complimentary candle. Of course I like to top it off with a glass of wine and a good book, but you do what feels best.
